D. A. Goran Marinković graduated at the Wind instruments department–bassoon and at the Composition department at the Faculty of music in Belgrade. He finished postgraduate studies at the Wind instruments department-bassoon. He received the title of Doctor of Arts in 2013 (chamber music “Profiling of sound and interpretative role of bassoon in chamber works of Serbian composers from 20th and 21st century”, mentor MA Zorica Ćetković).
During his artistic career, he was a member and first solo bassoon player of Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and State chamber orchestra “Cyprus State Orchestra”. Goran Marinković is the first solo bassoon player of the orchestra “Camerata Serbica”.
From his experience in chamber music, most noticeable are: he was a member of chamber ensemble “Belgrade baroque quartet”, member of wind quintet “Less Bacchanalles”, “Ensemble for new music”. Currently, he is a member of ensemble “Gradilište”, “Belgrade chamber sextet” and chamber ensemble “Novi Sad Wind Quintet”.
Goran Marinković performed a great number of solo concerts and chamber music concerts. Most noticeable are: solo concert cycle “Encounter with the artist” in 2005; series of concerts-National concert season in 2008; solo concert in gallery “Artget” in Belgrade 2008; two concerts of wind sextet in Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment in 2010; chamber music concert for instrumental quintet and septet, hall of Belgrade Philharmonic in 2010; chamber music concert and performing of author’s work “Goran Marinković and friends” in 2011; profiling of sound and interpretative role of bassoon in chamber works of Serbian composers from 20th and 21st century in hall of Students’ Cultural Centre in 2013; two concerts of ensemble “Belgrade chamber sextet” in the hall of Students’ Cultural Centre and hall of Belgrade Philharmonic in 2016.
Compositions of Goran Marinković were performed at Review of Composers in Opatija and Belgrade, also concerts which were part of Belgrade Music Festival and many other concerts in the country and abroad. His works were also performed in alternative spaces where the creativity of contemporary authors is affirmed.
He is a professor at the Faculty of music in Belgrade, Chamber music department, working with wind ensembles.
