Kristijan Boroš was born in 1986 in Novi Sad where he finished his elementary and secondary musical education at “Isidor Bajić” Music School in the class of professor Đuro Pete. He completed his bachelor and master’s studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of prof. Nikola Srdić. He completed his Postgraduate course at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg in the class of prof. Alois Brandhofer. Since year 2011, he has been appointed at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, first as an associate in the Clarinet course, and from 2022 as a professor in the Chamber Music course.
He is the winner of a large number of awards and recognitions at domestic and international competitions, among which are four Laureate titles at the Republic Competitions in Belgrade (2003, 2005) and International Winds Competition in Požarevac (2004, 2005), First Prize at the International Clarinetist Competition “Anton Eberst” in Novi Sad (2008) and Second Prize at the International Competition of Young Musicians “Ohrid Pearls” in Ohrid (Macedonia, 2011.).
He attended master classes of eminent professors: Michel Arignon (France), Jiří Hlaváč (Czech Republic), Mate Bekavac (Slovenia), Jože Kotar (Slovenia), Tadej Kenig (Slovenia), Zsolt Szatmári (Hungary), Béla Kovács (Hungary), Wenzel Fuchs (Austria) and also chamber music master classes of Norbert Girlinger (Austria) and Boštjan Lipovšek (Slovenia).
Beside many soloist concerts held in the country and abroad, he performed with chamber ensembles and orchestras such as Novi Sad Wind Quintet, Novi Sad Academy of Arts Clarinet Choir, Novi Sad Academy of Arts Symphony Orchestra, Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic, Serbian National Theater Opera Orchestra, Camerata Academica, “Orfelin” Orchestra, Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2019, he has been performing with pianist Sanja Lukovac as a duo.
